Much of what I've been doing lately is covered under non disclosure agreements (NDAs). I have the utmost respect for these agreements and clients. While it makes it hard for me to have a demo, I value the relationship with these clients too much to break the agreements. If we work together, and your company has similar needs, just know I will abide by whatever agreement we have.
Under these NDAs, even if the videos are externally facing, I'm prohibited from posting them directly on my website. I can link to the websites where they are posted and that's what I've done here. I have a few clients that I cannot - under any circumstance - show or link to their videos. Just a reminder that these videos may expire as I do not have any control over them and thus may not be there when you click on them.
ATI Here for you -The Proposal:
This was such a great project! The story was the brainchild of the client and I was thrilled to be the producer for the production and post production. All crew and talent are Chicago-based. It was shot on location at an ATI clinic and Brindelle - a fabulous Chicago restaurant. There is a twin video to this one with different talent ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHniQzmLXsI) which was produced simultaneously. While we had an "in" getting into the ATI clinic; I secured the restaurant, auditioned the talent, and wrangled most of the logistics. We had a great director on set, but then I took over for the editing - working with the post production team. This had a nice budget so we were able to bring in some production toys to make it look nicer.
ATI - Holly's story
The client, my DP and I traveled to Greenville to capture interviews and stories. This is one of them.
ATI Patient story - Vicki
This is the main story we went to Greenville to capture. Vicki is such an awesome person and was 'all in' on sharing her story.
ASRS - See for a lifetime/Ferne's story
Ferne shares her story about dealing with macular degeneration. My DP and I traveled to Miami to capture this story.
ASRS - Leaders and Legends series: María H. Berrocal, MD, FASRS
This is only one in a series I've produced for ASRS. Each is a long form interview exploring the life and career of a retina specialist. Here is link to the entire series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXSCOzJn4LLg14pZnvDIu3ov6W01P_Y4D
I am the producer on all the Leaders and Legends pieces and most of the Milestone pieces.
Chicago Architecture Center - Newhouse Design Competition
It's always fun to work the Chicago Architecture Center. This piece is/was shown in the museum as part of the 40th Annual Newhouse Design competition.
Fourth Presbyterian Church - Christmas Eve service 2020
I was honored to help the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago celebrate Christmas Eve in 2020. The pandemic made in-person service impossible so I was tasked with creating a service that was special and meaningful to the congregation. We had under a month to bring this to life. I guess everyone liked it because we produced an Easter service a couple of months later.
Chicago Architecture Center - Restoring the Reliance building
This is a great example of getting the most use out of footage. This material was originally shot for use in an online educational session. However, it turned out so good, the Center is reusing it to showcase this great building. This is also an example of a lower budget piece. We recorded this in about 90 minutes as we had four other locations to hit in one day.
Sisters' Centennial Ride:
I went to San Francisco (clearly! lol) for this shoot. What a wonderful experience! I've never been a motorcycle rider, but kinda want to learn after hanging out with these fabulous women for a day. We secured permission to use some footage from Indian Motorcycles to help tell this story. It was nice to partner with another corporation. I edited this piece too, but had graphics created from a team member. The budget on this is what I would consider mid-range. There was travel included (for myself and another person) but we helped offset some costs by hiring locally to round out the team.
Life at TU:
This piece is a little old and I'm sorry about that. I work on a lot of internal pieces that can't be shown externally. Regardless, this is still a nice video that shows the culture at TransUnion. I was the producer on this shoot, working with a great team of TU team members who helped set up the interviews as well as just being good clients. This project also had a good budget and was part of a series - I think there were four videos in total.
Obviously not all projects have nice budgets. I will try to find some lower budgeted projects and link to those. If your story is there, you don't necessarily need a lot of bells and whistles.
